About Shawn

Dollar sets the bar as one of the most accomplished and most well rounded big wave surfers with a fearless approach. Dollar successfully negotiated a 61-foot drop that earned him Monster Paddle honors at the XXL awards. Dollar holds two world records in the Guinness Book of World Records for the biggest paddle in wave(s).  His career was cut short during a surfing accident which he broke is neck and suffered a very bad TBI.  He has spent the last 8 year healing and teaching others to recover from brain trauma.  He is a husband and father of two children.  His passions are surfing and fishing the waters off Pleasure Point on his SUP and Spearfishing.  He runs a sales agency that sells outdoor products including Salty Crew and Reef.
